Website security Obeo Design uses the latest technology for ecommerce security. All orders are transmitted over secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. All of your personal information including your credit card information and sign-in password are stored in encrypted format at all times. This website, and more importantly all user information, is further protected by a multi-layer firewall based security system. Visa, Mastercard and American Express also take significant security measures to protect your information.
Is it safe to use my credit card over the Internet?
Yes. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it's a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website's servers.
How do I know if my connection is secure?
Look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double- check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."
What are my Payment Options? We currently accept VISA, MASTER CARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards.
Will I be taxed?
According to Massachusetts law, we charge all Massachusetts residents sales tax on orders shipped to any address in the state of Massachusetts. The tax will be added automatically to your order once the address is input in the checkout process. No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to addresses in other states.
Do I incur shipping costs? Our items will be shipped to you free of charge. We use ground freight, Fedex or UPS that will take between 5 to 7 business days to reach your destination. For large and heavy items, we will be using freight carriers to ship to you. The freight company will be calling you prior to delivery to schedule a time for delivery and you will be required to be home to sign for the item. All shipments coming via Freight are brought to the curbside only. You are responsible for the assembly, delivery inside the place and installation of the item. Freight carriers do offer in-home or in-office delivery for an additional charge. Please inquire directly with the shipping company when the Freight company contacts you.

How long does it take to ship? Upon approval and verification of credit card information, orders will be processed for shipment. Inconsistent data and billing information may delay your order. Certain orders may require special processing due to limited quantities on particular items. We will notify customers who have placed orders for these “out of stock” items. On average, most items are shipped within 1 week. However, some items may take 3-6 weeks and custom orders may take up to 10 weeks. Each product should specify the shipping time estimation. We can give you a specific estimate of the lead time for any of the products on our site. Please email customerservice@obeodesign.com for any shipping inquiries.
Are your shipments insured against damage? Yes. Every shipment is insured against damage and we request that you carefully inspect your merchandise upon receipt and notify us immediately if you notice any damage due to transit. To successfully expedite any damage claim, you must keep the original packing material that the item(s) arrived in and print the words, "Damaged Upon Arrival" next to where you sign for the merchandise. Digital or traditional photographs can also be very powerful tools in helping us expedite a damage claim
Is there any warranty on the products? All the manufacturers we work with have their own warranty. Each product is covered by its respective manufacturer's warranty.
